Raihan Sharif

Raihan Sharif is a Project Engineer II at Cathie since January 2023, previously serving as a Geotechnical Engineer at DEME Group from October 2023 to April 2024. Raihan has extensive research experience as a Research Assistant in the Department of Soil Mechanics and Foundation/Geotechnical Engineering at Brandenburgische Technische Universität Cottbus-Senftenberg from July 2020 to December 2022. Earlier, Raihan worked as a Student Assistant at Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, focusing on numerical modeling of offshore geotechnical structures, and held an executive role at LafargeHolcim Bangladesh Limited specializing in construction materials development. Additionally, Raihan served as a System Engineer at Grameenphone Ltd, overseeing construction management for telecom infrastructure. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science degree in Natural Hazards and Risks in Structural Engineering from Bauhaus-Universität Weimar and a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology.
