John Ewers

John Ewers is currently serving as General Counsel at the Iwo Jima Association of America. Prior to this, John was a Pro bono Attorney at Immigration Legal Services, Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Washington, and an Adjunct Professor at American University Washington College of Law teaching Civil and Criminal Trial Advocacy. John has an extensive background in the military, serving in various roles such as SJA to CMC in the USMC and Circuit Military Judge in the Navy-Marine Corps Trial Judiciary. John holds a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center and a Master of Laws from The Judge Advocate General’s School, U.S. Army.
