Laney Powell

Laney Powell currently serves as a Refugee Resettlement Case Manager at Catholic Charities Southwestern Ohio since April 2023. Prior to this role, Laney worked as a Substitute Teacher at Mariemont City Schools from October 2022 to April 2023 and as a Preservationist at Miami University for a brief period in early 2022. Additional experience includes an internship as a Student Intern at Cincinnati Compass and a Nonprofit Management Internship at FIRST PLACE FOOD PANTRY INC in late 2020, along with a role as a Receptionist at Total Image Salon & Day Spa. Laney earned a Bachelor of Arts in International/Global Studies from Miami University in May 2022 and also studied at the Miami University John E. Dolibois European Center in Luxembourg during the fall semester of 2021. Academic qualifications include a High School Diploma from William Mason High School, received in 2018.
