Colleen Scanlon has a strong background in Human Resources and has held various leadership roles throughout their career. Colleen is currently working as the HR Director of Operations and Compliance at Catholic Community Services of Western Washington. Prior to this, Colleen worked as the Chief of Staff Human Resources at the same organization.

Before joining Catholic Community Services, Colleen was the Labor Relations & Human Resource Director at Lifelong. During their time there, they successfully negotiated a collective bargaining agreement that had been unsettled for over two years. Colleen also implemented new hiring processes and onboarding procedures for new employees.

Colleen's previous experience includes serving as the Human Resources Director at FOX 13 Seattle, where they supported a workforce of 150 employees and collaborated with corporate headquarters on HR initiatives. Colleen also worked as the Deputy HR Director at the State of Washington, leading a team and implementing a customer service model to improve communications with union groups.

Earlier in their career, Colleen held HR leadership positions at the City of Lincoln City, Ketchikan Indian Community, Alaska Timber Insurance Exchange, E.C. Phillips & Son, and Skinner Sales & Service.

Colleen Scanlon obtained a High School Diploma in General Studies from Ketchikan High School in 1979. Colleen then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Capella University from 2007 to 2008. Later, they completed a Master's degree in Paralegal Studies from The George Washington University from 2010 to 2012. Finally, they obtained another Master's degree in Human Resources Management and Services from Capella University from 2013 to 2015.
