Brian Wenger

Brian Wenger is the current Director at Catholic Relief Services. Prior to their current position, Brian served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer at Optum from July 2014 to June 2017. At Optum, Brian was a member of the executive leadership team that helped the company grow 20% annually with revenue exceeding $90 billion. Brian was also responsible for leading Optum's Legal, Compliance and Regulatory Affairs team of 400 employees spread across North America, South America, Asia, Europe and Australia. Brian has also been actively involved in numerous acquisitions and integrations, including the largest acquisition in the history of UHG, Inc. – Catamaran, Inc. – $12.8 billion. Brian is a leading corporate lawyer in the Twin Cities and they have provided legal services to global companies in the past. Brian is also the Chair of the Briggs and Morgan law firm.

Brian Wenger holds a Doctor of Law from Villanova University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Marquette University.
