Emily Timmreck

Emily Timmreck has a diverse work experience in the healthcare and international sectors. Emily currently works at Catholic Relief Services as the Director of Health Operations, a role they have held since November 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Advisor in Health and Safety Operations at Catholic Relief Services from April 2021 to November 2022.

Before joining Catholic Relief Services, Emily worked at the Peace Corps for several years in various roles. Emily was a Clinical Education & Training Officer from June 2019 to April 2021, Acting Chief In Service Medical Operations from November 2018 to June 2019, and an International Health Coordinator from October 2014 to November 2018.

In 2013, they worked at Kaiser Permanente as a Professional Development and Leadership Manager for a year. From 2010 to 2013, they were a Nurse Practitioner at George Washington University Hospital.

Emily also worked as an Advisor at AK Khan Healthcare Foundation from July 2011 to December 2012. Their career began at the University of Virginia Health System, where they served as a Nurse Practitioner in Interventional Radiology from January 2004 to June 2005.

Emily Timmreck obtained a BSN and MSN degree from the University of Virginia from 1994 to 1998. Emily pursued further education at the same institution and completed their MSN degree in Acute and Critical Care from 2001 to 2003.
