Joshua Poole

Joshua Poole is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in humanitarian and development work, currently serving as the Sub-Regional Country Representative for Catholic Relief Services since June 2019. In this role, Joshua supports country program teams across East Asia and the Pacific islands, including states like Tonga, Samoa, and Myanmar. Joshua previously held the title of Country Representative, leading a team of over 200 staff and managing a diverse portfolio of development and relief efforts with notable donors such as USAID and the EU. Joshua's earlier experience includes roles as Project Coordinator and Public Donor Liaison at Catholic Relief Services, Projects Coordinator at Adventist Development and Relief Agency in Madagascar, and Ambassador's Special Grants Manager at the US Embassy in Madagascar. Joshua started a career as a U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer and holds a Bachelor's degree from American University in Communications, Legal Studies, Economics, and Government.
