Mia Dawson

Mia Dawson is a resource specialist with Catholic Social Services of Washtenaw County since June 2020, bringing a strong background in social work and customer service. Previous experience includes serving at Center Street Grille and Park Place Gastropub, where exceptional multi-tasking and communication skills were developed. Mia's internship at NorthWest Initiative involved community outreach and client assessments as part of criminal justice reform efforts. As Social Chair for the MSU Student Housing Cooperative, organizational and event management skills were showcased through successful event planning. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Michigan State University, complemented by various volunteer roles, including crisis counseling and participation in community service projects across multiple states.
