Brittany McGhee

Senior Director Of Mission Engagement at Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago

Brittany McGhee has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and organizations. Brittany began their career in 2010 as a Program Coordinator at the Center for Community Service and Justice (CCSJ). From there, they worked as a Refugee Client Resource and Employment Manager at Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County in 2011. In 2012, they became a Research Assistant at the University of Chicago.

In 2014, Brittany joined the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America as a Manager for Young Adults in Global Mission. Brittany then transitioned to Everywhere Wireless in 2018, where they served as a Senior Public Relations Consultant.

In 2016, Brittany joined the Chicago Council on Global Affairs and held various roles, including Officer, Next Generation, Assistant Director, Director of Community and Strategic Engagement, and Director of Young Professional Programs & Community. In February 2023, they moved to the Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago, taking on the position of Senior Director of Mission Engagement.

Brittany McGhee holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Global Studies from Loyola University Maryland. Brittany also obtained a Master of Arts degree in International Relations from the University of Chicago.
