Yoav Hajbi

Yoav Hajbi has a diverse work experience in the field of software development and quality assurance. Yoav is currently working as a Software Development Team Lead at Cato Networks, leading a full-stack developers team and is also responsible for design and architecture.

Prior to this, Yoav worked at Pitney Bowes as a Principal Software Engineer, where they were part of the Infrastructure/Architecture team and served as a tech lead. Yoav'sresponsibilities included working on development infrastructures, solving performance issues, investigating urgent problems on Production, and leading cross-system projects. Yoav also played a key role in leading projects from requirements analysis to implementation and support on Production.

Before their role at Pitney Bowes, Yoav worked as a Senior Software Engineer at the same company, starting in March 2015 and ending in September 2018.

Yoav's work experience also includes being a Software Engineer at Borderfree from June 2012 to May 2015 and a Senior QA Engineer at Bank Hapoalim from September 2010 to June 2012.

In the early stages of their career, Yoav worked at Mennen Medical, where they served as a QA Team Leader from November 2008 to September 2010 and as a QA Engineer from December 2007 to November 2008.

Yoav Hajbi completed a B.Sc in Computer Science from The Open University of Israel in 2016. In 2002, they obtained a High School Equivalency Certificate in Physics from the Israel Ministry of Education. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications, including the Complete React Hooks Course 2021 from Udemy, Learning Go and Learning Quarkus from LinkedIn, Foundations of Programming: Design Patterns from Lynda.com, HTML, CSS, and Javascript for Web Developers from Coursera, and Unix/Linux for Power Users from Sela Group.
