Desmond Whelan

Desmond Whelan has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Desmond started their career at Quantum as a Sales Engineer in 1999 and later worked at Snap Appliance as a Sales Engineer, providing outside sales support for the Snap Server NAS product line. In 2004, they joined ADPT Corporation as a Sales Engineer and then moved to NetApp in 2006 as a Technical Partner Manager, where they created and delivered product and sales training to channel partners. In 2009, they joined NETGEAR as a Sales Engineer East, supporting a team of 20 channel account managers and architecting network solutions for the small to medium enterprise market. Since 2017, they have been working at Catoctin Creek Distilling Company as the Head Distiller.

Desmond Whelan holds a Diploma in Electronics from the Waterford Institute of Technology. Desmond also completed their Leaving Certificate at Good Counsel College in Ireland. No specific start or end years were provided for either educational experience.
