Vice President, Head Of Monitoring & Engagement at Catona Climate

Tracy Bain has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Tracy currently holds the position of Vice President and Head of Monitoring & Engagement at Catona Climate, a role they have held since February 2024. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Director in the same company from October 2022 to February 2024, and as the Carbon & Reforestation Manager - Sustainability from March 2022 to October 2022. Tracy's earlier work experience includes positions at the Wildlife Conservation Network as a Program Intern from October 2013 to September 2014 and as an Event Volunteer from October 2008 to September 2013. Tracy has also worked as a Wildlife Biologist at URS Corporation from March 2012 to May 2014, a Program Associate in Marine Fisheries and Community Programs at The David and Lucile Packard Foundation from August 2008 to September 2010, a Delaware State Park Naturalist at Ohio State Parks from June 2007 to October 2007, and a CanalWay Visitor Center Naturalist at Cleveland Metroparks from June 2006 to December 2006. Tracy started their career as a Research Assistant and later as a Field Assistant at Ohio University from September 2004 to February 2006, with a focus on ecological research.

Tracy Bain holds a Master of Science degree in Conservation Biology from Sonoma State University, which was obtained from 2011 to 2014. Prior to that, Tracy earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Wildlife Biology from Ohio University between 2003 and 2006. Furthermore, Tracy has also obtained a certification as a Sustainability Excellence Associate from Green Business Certification, Inc. in 2020.
