David Tovar

David Tovar has accumulated a wealth of experience in the financial industry. David's career began in 1999 when they completed an Audit Internship at KPMG. David completed a second Audit Internship at KPMG in 2001. In 2002, they were an Equity Research Intern at UBS. In 2003, they were a Graduate Programme Analyst at J.P. Morgan. From 2004 to 2010, they were a Director of Equity Research at Merrill Lynch. During this time, they were top ranked in II, Extel and FT Starmine and had a particular sector focus on the broad Consumer space. In 2010, they became the Co-Founder and Portfolio Manager at Skyline Capital Management, where they had a geographic focus on developed Europe, Russia and Latin America. From 2016 to 2019, they were the Director of Specialist Sales at Exane, providing support in pitching and delivering on banking transactions. In 2019, they became a Non Executive Director at Caura. Currently, they are an Analyst at BALYASNY EUROPE ASSET MANAGEMENT LLP.

David Tovar attended St Lawrence College from 1987 to 1994. David then attended Dulwich College from 1994 to 1999. Lastly, they attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 2000 to 2003, where they earned a 2:1 in Management Sciences BSc.
