Lori DeLorenzo has a wealth of experience in various roles and industries. Lori started their career at the Federal Aviation Administration in 1985, where they served as a Program Manager and Deputy Program Manager for several aviation-related projects. In 1998, they transitioned into consulting, providing program management and systems engineering support to commercial and government agencies. During this time, they also led requirements development for the transition of an Australian air traffic control system to the US. From 2001 to 2012, Lori worked at CACI as a Technical Director and Solution Architect, overseeing the development of complex systems and solutions for multi-million dollar proposals. Lori joined 4ward Sciences in 2012, and served as the VP, Chief Engineer, and member of the Board of Directors until 2016, where they provided consulting and technical approach development for federal government proposals. In 2014, Lori also held the position of Senior Vice President of Operations at Human Solutions, Inc., managing a division of approximately 150 employees and subcontractors. Additionally, they served on the Board of Directors for the Lupus Foundation of America, DC/MD/VA Chapter from 2014 to 2015. Currently, Lori is the Senior Vice President of Corporate Operations at Cavan Solutions, a start-up consulting and professional services company, where they are responsible for contract and financial management, business development, and customer relationship management.

Lori DeLorenzo has a strong educational background, with a focus in engineering and oceanography. From 2006 to 2012, they attended the Stevens Institute of Technology where they earned a Masters of Engineering degree in Systems Engineering. Prior to that, from 1982 to 1986, Lori attended Stockton University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Oceanography.

Lori also holds additional certifications to further enhance their expertise. In 2009, they obtained the Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) certification from the International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE). Additionally, Lori possesses certifications in INCOSE CSEP, PMP (Project Management Professional), and ITIL Foundations, although the details regarding the institution and specific dates of obtaining these certifications are unclear.
