We believe market efficiency and quality will be improved once practitioner and hospital efficiency and quality are accurately measured, and patients have knowledge of--or are directed to--the best practicing providers. We began measuring the efficiency and quality of practitioners'​ practice patterns in 1991-1992. Since this time, we have worked with many leading HMOs, insurance companies, employers, physician-hospital organizations, and third party administrators.
