Rahim Karim

Rahim Karim is an experienced financial professional currently serving as the Head of Financials Research at Cavendish since October 2025. Prior to this role, Rahim held positions as an Equity Research Analyst at Investec from April 2021 to October 2025 and at Liberum from November 2015 to April 2021, specializing in financial services equity research. Rahim also co-founded Karman Holdings Ltd, where a focus was placed on investments in the Oil & Gas sector in Tanzania from January 2014 to July 2015. Earlier in the career, Rahim worked as an Equity Research Analyst at Barclays Investment Bank from November 2008 to December 2013, managing primary coverage of major companies in the European Integrated Oil & Gas sector and previously with Lehman Brothers from July 2005 to September 2008. Educational achievements include a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Cambridge, attained between 2002 and 2005, alongside A-Level and GCSE qualifications from Dulwich College.
