Mark Urquhart

Mark Urquhart's work experience includes various roles at Cavendish Farms, starting in 1994. Mark held the positions of Ag Mgmt Roles from October 1994 to February 2002, Raw Procurement Manager from February 2002 to July 2017, and Director of Western Agriculture from July 2017 to March 2023. During their time at Cavendish Farms, they focused on sustainability in production agriculture, new variety development, and efficient use of land and water resources. In March 2023, they were promoted to Senior Director of Farm Operations, where they led farm management teams and worked towards quality production with sustainable activities. Additionally, Mark Urquhart currently serves as a Board Member for the North Dakota State Board of Agriculture Research and Education (SBARE), starting in July 2021.

Mark Urquhart attended Nova Scotia Agricultural College from 1988 to 1992, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Agricultural Mechanization.
