Tim Hobbs

Tim Hobbs has over 20 years of work experience in the field of information technology. Tim started their career in 1998 as an IT Operations Analyst at Blockbuster, where they were responsible for analyzing and resolving problems, as well as managing backups. Tim then worked at IBM Global Services as a System Specialist, providing operational iSeries support for multiple companies. In 2004, they joined Anderson Merchandisers as an iSeries Administrator, where they were responsible for supporting and maintaining IBM I systems. In 2009, they joined Dean Foods as a System Engineer II, assisting in the design and setup of new systems. From 2011 to 2015, they worked at ANConnect as the Director of Technology Operations, managing information systems activities and providing technical support for various departments. Currently, they are the Director of IT at Caviness Beef Packers.

Tim Hobbs completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Computer Information Systems from West Texas A&M University from 2011 to 2012. Tim then pursued further education at The University of Texas at Dallas, where they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Information Technology and Management and a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Information Systems and Supply Chain Management from 2013 to 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Tim Hobbs has also obtained several certifications. Tim earned the ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from EXIN in February 2014. Tim also holds certification from IBM, including the e(logo)server Certified Specialist - AIX Basic Operations V5 in January 2008, the Certified Specialist - eServer i5 iSeries Single System Administration V5R3 in June 2007, and the e(logo)server Certified Specialist - iSeries System Command Operations V5R2 in March 2005.
