Soumya Chatterjee has work experience in various roles and companies. They started working at Botree Software International Pvt Limited in 2012 as a Customer Service Associate and then later became a Senior Customer Service Associate. In 2017, they joined CavinKare as an Information Technology Support Officer and later transitioned into the role of IT Support Technician. Before entering university, Soumya completed their intermediate education in arts at W.B.C.H.S.E in 2006.

In terms of additional certifications, in October 2011, Soumya obtained a certification in Ethical Hacking, although the institution granting the certification is unknown.
