Mike Newnham

Mike Newnham has extensive experience in engineering and software architecture. Mike is currently working as the Head of Engineering at Cayaba Care since May 2023. Previously, they held the position of VP Engineering and Principal Software Architect at Quil Health from January 2018 to February 2023, where they led engineering teams in the development of health-tech applications. Prior to that, they served as Senior Software Architect at Comcast Strategic Development from January 2018 to December 2019.

Mike also worked as an Engineering Lead and Software Architect at Ghost Pepper Software from November 2015 to March 2018, where they led custom integration and software product development projects. Mike held a similar role at Mana Health from September 2016 to January 2018.

Before that, they were the CEO and Principal Software Architect at Sentinel Software Group from January 2007 to March 2016. Mike also worked as a Senior Software Architect at Computer Aid Inc. from 2002 to 2015 and as a Senior Software Developer Team Lead at Versata / Verve Inc from 2000 to 2002.

Mike started their career as a Senior Developer and Team Lead at SCT from 1995 to 1999. Throughout their career, Mike has demonstrated leadership skills and expertise in diverse technical areas, such as distributed, cloud-based platforms, healthcare, and insurance. Overall, their work experience showcases their ability to lead teams, develop innovative solutions, and successfully launch products to the market.

From 1989 to 1993, Mike Newnham attended the University of Melbourne, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree. Their field of study was Artificial Intelligence and learning networks. Additionally, they possess a certification as a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) from the Scrum Alliance, although the month and year of obtaining this certification are unknown.
