Julie Rumble has a diverse work experience in various positions. Julie started as a Research Technician at Massachusetts General Hospital in 2002, focusing on NIK signaling in TNF-initiated NF-κB signaling. Following that, they worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Michigan Health System from 2008 to 2013, where they analyzed the expression patterns of IL-1 family members in multiple models of EAE.
From 2013 to 2015, Julie served as a Research Investigator at the University of Michigan, conducting research on IL-1-family cytokines in multiple sclerosis and experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis. Julie then joined Cayman Chemical in 2015 as an R&D Scientist and Operations Coordinator before being promoted to Scientist II in 2018. In 2020, they became the Manager of Immunology Contract Services, where they communicated with clients, planned and developed projects, and coordinated with scientific staff to execute projects. Currently, Julie holds the position of Director of Immunology Contract Services at Cayman Chemical.
Julie Rumble obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, with honors, from the University of Richmond. Julie attended this institution from 1998 to 2002. Later, from 2003 to 2009, they pursued their academic career at the University of Michigan, where they earned a PhD in Immunology.
