Steve Smith

Steve joined Cayman as the Chief Financial Officer in 2022. He is a Business & Financial Executive with over 30 years of experience with Fortune 500 (publicly traded), private equity, & family-owned organizations within the manufacturing, consumer products, supply chain, retail, and service segments on both the domestic and global level. He is excited to join the Cayman Chemical family and bring his collaborative leadership style, player-coach approach, and demonstrated skillset in driving profitable business growth while creating and achieving strategic initiatives. Steve has extensive experience in corporate development (M&A) and business/systems integration.

Steve earned his MBA with an emphasis on Corporate Development and International Business from Baldwin-Wallace University and is currently pursuing his Doctorate in Business Administration (DrBA), Strategy, and Innovation from Capella University. Steve also holds CPA, CMA, and CFM certifications.
