William St. Lawrence has a diverse work experience in various industries. William started their career in 2003 as a Corporate Attorney at Heller Ehrman, where they provided legal counsel to public companies, start-ups, VCs, hedge funds, and investment banks. William then worked as a Legal Counsel and Business Counselor at an International Family Office/Venture Backed Tech Companies from 2007 to 2012, advising on investments, acquisitions, and partnerships.

From 2012 to 2020, William served as the General Counsel, Chief Administrative Officer, and Advisor at Northeast Wireless Networks, LLC, a venture-backed company that built, operated, and owned wholesale shared access cellular networks. The company was later acquired by AT&T.

In 2017, William joined Northern Power Systems as the Chief Executive Officer (interim) & General Counsel, and later as the General Counsel & Vice President - Business Development.

William has also held advisory roles at Cayster, Blueforce Development Corp., Point Pickup, RTO Wireless, and is currently a Co-Founder at boapad. Additionally, they are a Member of the Board of Directors at Sonic Foundry Inc.

Throughout their career, William St. Lawrence has demonstrated expertise in legal, corporate, and business development, as well as strategic consulting across various industries.

William St. Lawrence began their education at North Yarmouth Academy in 1982 and completed it in 1987. Although there is no mention of a degree or field of study from this institution. Later, from 1987 to 1991, they attended Hobart and William Smith Colleges, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History with honors. Finally, from 1995 to 1998, William pursued a Juris Doctor degree in Law with honors, graduating cum laude from the University of Maine School of Law.
