Mshsa Julie Herson Steele

Julie Herson Steele, MSHSA, has extensive work experience in various healthcare organizations. Julie currently holds the position of Senior Director of Operations at Cayuga Medical Associates, PC, where they are responsible for the operational effectiveness of multiple practices and specialty services. Julie also oversees the development of a comprehensive customer service and patient experience program. Prior to this role, Julie served as the Director of Practice Operations at Cayuga Medical Associates, PC.

Julie also has experience as the Executive Director of Provider Services at Schuyler Hospital and as the Director of the Cayuga Center for Wound Healing at Healogics, Inc. Julie was previously a Manager of Population Health and Wellness at CDPHP and held various roles at Health Research, Inc., including Manager of Community Partnerships, Coordinator of Public Education & Promotions, Pandemic Influenza Coordinator, and Professional Development Specialist.

Julie Herson Steele earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, Health and Human Services, and Statistics from the University at Buffalo, where they studied from 1992 to 1997. Julie then pursued a Master of Science degree in Health Services Administration at Russell Sage College from 2011 to 2013.
