Jim Bratton

Vice President at Cayuse

Jim Bratton has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Jim currently serves as the Vice President of Cayuse LLC since March 2021. Prior to that, they were the President and CEO of Innovate IP, Inc. starting from September 2018.

Jim's experience also includes being the Managing Director of Blue River Investment Partners since April 2008. Jim held multiple positions at the University of Oklahoma, including Assistant Vice President of Innovation and New Ventures from July 2012 to September 2018, and Executive Director of the Office of Technology Development from January 2011 to September 2018.

In addition, Jim was the CEO of IP2Biz LLC, where they worked with Fortune 500 clients to develop and commercialize innovative technologies. Jim was the Founder and Managing Director of Leader Ventures, an institutional debt and equity fund. Jim also served as the Managing Director of Dominion Capital Management, a specialty finance firm.

Earlier in their career, Jim worked at BF Goodrich Aerospace in various managerial roles, including Airline Support Manager and International Airline Support Manager.

Throughout their career, Jim has demonstrated strong leadership skills, expertise in technology commercialization, and a track record of successful investments.

Jim Bratton completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in French and Economics at The University of the South in 1988. Jim then pursued further education and obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance and Operations from Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business, attending from 1991 to 1993. In addition to their academic achievements, Jim also obtained a Certified Licensing Professional certification from Certified Licensing Professionals, Inc. in May 2013.
