Simon Skrødal, PhD

Simon Skrødal, PhD has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Simon is currently employed as a Professional Services Consultant at Cayuse LLC. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Technical Lead at Flinders University from September 2018 to January 2021. Simon also served as a Senior Application Specialist/Senior Developer at the University of Adelaide from March 2017 to September 2018.

Before joining the University of Adelaide, Simon worked as a Senior Engineer/Senior Advisor at UNINETT from March 2011 to December 2016. From 2007 to 2011, they served as the Director of EduPEx Pty Ltd. Simon further pursued their education at Flinders University and earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) Honours degree in Computer Science from 2003 to 2004. Simon then attended the University of Adelaide, where they obtained a Graduate Certificate in Science & Technology Commercialisation from 2007 to 2008. Continuing their studies at the University of Adelaide, Simon completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Educational Simulation Software Development from 2006 to 2009.

Before their academic pursuits, Simon attended Officer Cadet School in the Forsvaret - Norwegian Armed Forces from 1997 to 1998, where they studied Army Signals. Prior to this, they attended Hitra VGS from 1994 to 1997, focusing on subjects such as IT, Biology, and English.
