Ian Woo has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Ian currently serves as an Independent Director at Prenetics since May 2022. Prior to that, they were a Board of Overseers member at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health starting in June 2019. Ian also held positions as a Board Director, President & CFO at Everest Medicines and as a Managing Director at C-Bridge Capital, both starting in June 2018. Ian Woo has a background in finance, with previous roles including Head of Greater China Healthcare and Managing Director at Lazard Asia (HK) Limited from January 2012 to July 2016, and as a Managing Director at Lazard from March 2005 to June 2018. Ian also worked as an Associate at FBR from July 2003 to February 2005, at Bear Stearns from July 1999 to January 2002, and at D.E. Shaw from August 1998 to June 1999.
Ian Woo has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Tufts University, which they obtained from 1990 to 1994. Ian also completed an MBA from Columbia Business School from 2002 to 2003.
