Amaury Camarena

Amaury Camarena has extensive work experience in coastal engineering and specialist roles. Amaury started their career as an Engineer at ADMINISTRACIÓN PORTUARIA INTEGRAL DE ENSENADA in 2009. Amaury then moved on to roles at Deltares as a Consultant/Researcher and as a Coastal Specialist at VortexMundus before joining CBCL Limited. At CBCL Limited, they have taken on roles such as Senior Coastal Specialist, Group Lead in Coastal Engineering, and currently serves as the Head of Department in Coastal Science and Engineering. Amaury'sexpertise and experience highlight their strong background in coastal science and engineering.

Amaury Camarena obtained a professional degree in Civil Engineering from Universidad Autonoma de Baja California in 2009. Amaury then pursued multiple Master's degrees in Coastal and Marine Engineering from Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, and Delft University of Technology in 2010 and 2011. Additionally, they hold certifications as an AMS Lifeguard and PADI Open Water Diver.
