Claude Galipeau

Claude Galipeau has extensive experience in the media industry. Claude began their career as the COO and later became an advisor at Syncapse. Claude then served as the Country Manager for Yahoo in Canada, where they transformed the business and sales team into a leading vendor of data-driven advertising products. After Yahoo, Galipeau worked as the Chief Revenue Officer at Torstar Corporation, a multi-platform media company. Claude also served on the Board of Directors at Vividata, where they provided insights on multi-media and consumer behavior. Additionally, Galipeau has held various board positions, including Vice-Chair at OCAD University and as a board member at Banff World Media Festival and IAB Canada. Currently, Claude Galipeau is the Executive-Vice President at CBC/Radio-Canada, where they are responsible for the corporate plan and strategy, business development, government and international relations, regulatory affairs, corporate research, and corporate communications. Claude is also a board member at Public Media Alliance.

Claude Galipeau holds a Ph.D in Political Science from the University of Toronto, an M.A. in Political Science from Queen's University, and a B.A. (Honours) in Political Science from Bishop's University.
