Michelle Allan

Michelle Allan is an experienced journalist currently working as a Reporter at CBC/Radio-Canada since May 2021, focusing on enterprise and investigative stories while also serving as a morning radio newsreader. Prior roles include Associate Producer at the CBC News Network Investigative Unit and various positions at CBC Ottawa local, including Reporter/Editor and Associate Producer/Web Writer. Michelle's background includes work as a Data Journalist at Local News Data Hub, Managing Editor at The Ryersonian, and General Assignment News Reporter at The Globe and Mail. With a Master's degree in Journalism from Ryerson University and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in English Language and Literature from Queen's University, Michelle brings a strong educational foundation to her reporting and storytelling skills.
