Senior Safe Implementation Specialist

cBEYONData is seeking a highly skilled Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Agile Implementation Consultant to support a customer who has embarked on a large modernization initiative. This role involves facilitating the successful implementation of the SAFe methodology, enhancing their capabilities in agile practices, and delivering high-quality solutions efficiently. This will require an initial quality review of existing practices, a comprehensive list of actions to improve, and then coordination with existing teams across Government and Contractor resources.

Responsibilities:

• Agile Coaching: Guide and mentor teams on SAFe principles, roles, and practices. Assist in the development and implementation of Agile Release Trains (ARTs).
• Framework Implementation: Implement SAFe practices across various teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and seamless integration with existing processes.
• Training and Development: Conduct SAFe training sessions for teams and stakeholders to build a solid understanding of the framework’s practices and benefits.
• Change Management: Lead change management initiatives to transition teams from traditional to agile methodologies. Address and resolve resistance and challenges encountered during the implementation process.
• Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve agile practices, workflows, and tools to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, developers, and external stakeholders to ensure that agile practices align with business objectives and project timelines.
• Reporting and Analytics: Monitor, measure, and report on the progress and success of agile implementation using key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Risk Management: Identify risks associated with the agile transition and develop mitigation strategies.
• Feedback Loop: Establish regular feedback sessions with teams and stakeholders to ensure continuous improvement and adaptation of processes.

Qualifications:

• Top Secret security clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Management, or other equivalent degree
• Certified SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) or similar relevant certification
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in implementing SAFe in large-scale IT projects
• Minimum 3 years of Public Sector experience
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience in coaching and training teams
• Superior interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working with diverse teams and influencing senior management
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment
