Noy Cohen-Shapira is a Machine Learning Researcher at Applied Materials since January 2023 and holds a concurrent position as a Data Scientist at CBG - Cyber@Ben Gurion University since September 2018. In addition, Noy is a Lecturer at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, teaching a Big Data course since October 2018, and has served as a Teaching Assistant in various courses related to Software and Information Systems Engineering. Previous experience includes mentoring at the School of Data Science YDATA and a research role at IBM. Noy's academic journey culminated in a PhD in Software and Information Systems Engineering from Ben-Gurion University, following a Master’s in Machine Learning and Big Data Analytics, and a Bachelor's in Software and Information Systems Engineering from the same institution.
