Edward Baustert

Edward Baustert has a diverse work experience in the field of security and technology. Edward started their career as a Team Leader at Target from 2011 to 2013. In 2014, Edward worked as a Security Officer at Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. Following this, they joined Detroit IT in 2015 as a Helpdesk/ Systems Administrator, where they were responsible for network and email access administration.

Edward's next role was at Red Level in 2016, where they worked as a Help Desk Security Specialist. Here, they developed security awareness programs and implemented endpoint protection and firewall policies. Edward also conducted intrusion RCA and cleanup.

Currently, Edward works at CBI, A Converge Company, starting from 2018. Edward initially joined as a Security Analyst, focusing on SIEM architecture, deployment, and management. Edward integrated with the SOC and worked on incident response. Later, in 2020, they transitioned to the role of a Security Engineer, leveraging their expertise in security.

Edward Baustert attended Oakland Community College from 2014 to 2017, where they studied Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management. Edward has obtained several certifications, including CompTIA Network Infrastructure Professional – CNIP Stackable Certification, Cloud +, Server +, Network +, CompTIA Secure Cloud Professional – CSCP Stackable Certification, CompTIA Security Analytics Professional – CSAP Stackable Certification, Cyber Security Analyst+, and Security+. Edward also holds the Certified SonicWall Security Administrator certification. Additionally, Edward has pursued certifications from Microsoft, including Exam 410: Installing and Configuring Windows Server 2012 and Microsoft Certified Professional.
