Ryan Emmons

Ryan Emmons is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in offensive security and threat research. Currently serving as a Lead Security Researcher at Rapid7, Ryan focuses on 0day research and nday analysis within the Emergent Threat Response team. Previously, as a Senior Offensive Security Consultant at Converge Technology Solutions Corp., Ryan conducted security research and exploit development through reverse engineering, code auditing, and software fuzzing. Earlier roles include Offensive Security Consultant, where Ryan executed black box penetration tests and external red teaming activities, as well as a Penetration Tester at Bytefever Security, where legacy networking device firmware was reverse-engineered. Additionally, Ryan worked as a Security Engineer at Digital Maelstrom, performing white box penetration testing and monitoring incidents in a PCI Card Data Environment.
