Lakmal Ariyarathna

Lakmal Ariyarathna is a seasoned professional in production and engineering management with extensive experience at CBL Natural Food Cluster and Unilever. Currently serving as Senior Manager - Production and Engineering at CBL Natural Food Cluster since June 2022, Lakmal previously held the role of Site Quality Assurance Manager at Unilever Sri Lanka Horana Plant. With a career at Unilever spanning nearly nine years, notable achievements include leading a successful health food drinks localization network during the pandemic and establishing co-packing capabilities for tea. Lakmal's educational qualifications include an MSc in Engineering Management from the University of Peradeniya and ongoing certifications in supply chain and occupational health and safety. Recognized for contributions to the industry, Lakmal is also a joint prize winner of the CIMA Gateway Exam in the Asia Pacific Region.
