Danny Haddad is an experienced leader in eye health and neglected tropical diseases (NTDs), currently serving as the Inclusive Eye Health & NTD Director at CBM Global Disability Inclusion since 2021. Previous roles include Chief of Program at Orbis International, where strategic planning and program management were overseen, and Technical Director at Emory Eye Center, focusing on trichiasis surgery and disability prevention. Haddad has also directed global initiatives for the International Trachoma Initiative and Children Without Worms, implementing comprehensive strategies to address blinding trachoma and soil-transmitted helminth infections worldwide. Educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine degree and propadeutic studies in Chemical Engineering from the University of Groningen and the University of Amsterdam.
