Mita Rani Roy Chowdhury

Mita Rani Roy Chowdhury is a seasoned professional in mental health and gender-related fields, currently serving as the Regional Mental Health Advisor for Asia at CBM Global Disability Inclusion since July 2022. With prior experience as a National Consultant-Gender Specialist at the World Health Organization, Mita has a strong background in supporting health and gender initiatives, particularly in conflict-affected areas such as Cox's Bazar. Mita's expertise includes technical guidance, team management, and capacity building, demonstrated through various roles, including MHPSS Technical Coordinator at Handicap International and Gender GBV Coordinator at Action Against Hunger. Educational qualifications include a Master's of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology and an International Diploma in Mental Health, Human Rights and Law from ILS Law College.
