Daniel Wybenga is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in technology and intellectual property law. Currently serving as Director and Assistant General Counsel at Cboe Global Markets since May 2022, Daniel previously held the position of Senior Attorney at USAA from May 2014 to May 2022, where responsibilities included managing the intellectual property portfolio and advising on litigation and settlement negotiations. Prior to USAA, Daniel worked as an Attorney at Tillman Wright, PLLC, providing legal services on intellectual property matters. Daniel's career began as an Engineer and Project Manager at S&ME, Inc., and also includes roles in legislative support and media at the South Carolina House of Representatives and NBC News Channel. Daniel holds a Master of Science in Engineering from the University of South Carolina, a Juris Doctor from Charlotte School of Law, and a Bachelor of Science from the University of South Carolina.
