Marcia Olmsted

Marcia Olmsted is an experienced professional with a strong background in change management, project management, and strategic development. Currently serving as Director of Change Management and previously as Director of Workplace Strategy at CBRE since June 2016, Olmsted specializes in consulting for workplace and occupancy services. Additionally, since May 2013, Olmsted has been a consultant for Strong-Bridge Consulting, focusing on strategic project management for a large technology firm. With a previous tenure at Microsoft from 2001 to 2013, roles included Contracting Strategic PM/Consultant and Strategy/Business Manager. Other significant positions include VP & COO at White Picket Defense, Practice Lead at IBM Canada Ltd., and Director of Internal Development & Communications at Southam Newspapers. Marcia Olmsted holds a Master’s degree in Library & Information Science and a Bachelor's degree in Musicology, both from McGill University.
