Carlota Varela-Cid

Carlota Varela-Cid has extensive work experience in marketing and communications. Carlota is currently the Director of Marketing & Communications at CBRE Portugal, a position they have held since April 2023. Prior to this, they were the Associate Director of Marketing & Communications at CBRE Portugal from September 2019 to April 2023.

Before joining CBRE Portugal, Carlota worked as the Country Marketing Manager at KLEPIERRE from November 2015 to August 2019. Carlota also served as the Business Development Manager at Eres Relocation from May 2014 to November 2015.

Carlota'searlier experience includes working as a Business Developer at NOVO BANCO from December 2012 to April 2014, and as a Marketing Manager at Hansgrohe from 2010 to 2012.

Carlota Varela-Cid has a diverse education history. In 2007, they attended the University of Lisbon and pursued a degree in Sociology, which they completed in 2009. In 2010, they participated in the Erasmus program at the Università degli Studi di Firenze, focusing on Economics and Social Sciences. Afterward, in 2011, Carlota attended the Hansgrohe International - Schiltach Aquademy in Germany, specializing in Marketing and Market Development. In 2012, they enrolled at IPAM, where they pursued an Executive Master's degree in Sales Management and Trade Marketing, completing it in 2013. Most recently, in 2023, they briefly attended the Universidade Católica Portuguesa to study Leadership for Systemic Change.
