Mark Touwen

Mark Touwen has a strong background in accounting and finance. Mark started their career at BDO Accountants in 2002, where they worked as a senior assistant and team leader in accountancy until 2006. Mark then joined Borrie Accountants/Belastingadviseurs as an accountant-medewerker AA, where they worked from 2010 to 2017. In 2017, Mark joined CBRE Investment Management EMEA, initially as a senior supervisor in accounting until September 2021, and then as the manager of accounting and control from January 2020 onwards.

Mark Touwen's education history begins with their time at R.S.G. Wiringherlant, where they studied at the atheneum level from 1990 to 1997. Mark then went on to attend Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences from 1997 to 2002, obtaining a bachelor's degree in Accountancy RA. Following this, from 2002 to 2004, they pursued further education at Markus Verbeek AA Master Class, completing a degree in Accountancy AA. Mark also obtained a certification as an Accountant-Administratieconsulent from the Koninklijke Nederlandse Beroepsorganisatie van Accountants (NBA) in December 2006. Finally, Mark attended Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) from 2010 to 2012 to earn a degree in IT Auditor, known as EMITA.
