Alesia Powell

Alesia Powell is an experienced media professional with a strong background in news production and logistics. Currently serving as the Deputy Director of Logistics & Editorial of Centralized Coverage at CBS News since April 2019, Alesia also holds the title of Senior Producer/Newspath Washington, DC Bureau Chief. Previously, Alesia worked at NBC News as a Producer, managing content for over 200 affiliates, and has held various roles at CBS News, including Regional Producer where Alesia developed key relationships and created training manuals. Alesia’s career began at VOOM HD News as a Producer, where Alesia executed live newscasts. Alesia earned a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism, Speech & Theater Arts from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University.
