Andy Cater has over four decades of experience in the broadcast and media industry, currently serving as the Director of Operations Europe at CBS News since February 1991. Previously held roles include London Technical Manager at CBS News, VT/Telecine Supervisor at BSB from 1989 to 1991, Engineer at Thames Television from 1986 to 1989, and ICR/CAR/Studio Ops and Maintenance Engineer at BBC from 1982 to 1986. Andy Cater's academic background includes a degree from Plymouth Polytechnic (1979-1982) and secondary education at Queen Elizabeths Grammar School in Crediton, Devon (1969-1976).
