Simon Lyall

Simon Lyall is an accomplished technical manager with extensive experience in the broadcast and event services industries. Currently serving as the London Bureau Technical Manager for CBS News since May 2020, Simon oversees technical operations and innovates solutions for the fast-paced environment of a foreign news bureau. As the co-owner of JPSL Technical Services Ltd since January 2010, Simon provides a range of services including sound, lighting, and IT for events. In addition, Simon has volunteered with the Army Cadet Force since December 2007, focusing on training in communication and information systems. Previous experience includes various roles as an audio-visual technician and a fieldshop utility at the NBC Olympics in 2012. Simon obtained a degree in Audio Media Engineering and Electronics from the University of Surrey in 2011.
