Tom Albano

Tom Albano is a highly experienced technical director currently employed at CBS News since July 2016. With a career spanning over three decades in broadcast and production technology, Tom has previously held key positions at CBS News, including business manager at IBEW LU 1200, and various technical roles within CBS since 1985. Tom's expertise encompasses studio lighting, audio control, remote broadcast operations, and camera work, developed through roles at notable organizations including C-SPAN, NBC News, ABC News, and CBS Sports. Tom holds an Associate in Arts degree in Communication and Broadcast Technology TV Production from Montgomery College.
