Marilyn Shen Depetro

Marilyn Shen DePetro is a seasoned professional in the architecture and design industry, currently serving as Principal and Director of Workplace at CBT Architects since November 2025 and as Founder and Principal Consultant at Kodo since December 2023. Kodo is a certified minority and woman-owned design consultancy that focuses on inclusive and equitable building environments. Prior experience includes roles as Principal at Margulies Perruzzi and Managing Principal at TRIA, Inc., where Marilyn led operational activities and championed organizational culture and diversity in design. With a strong background in workplace strategy from Visnick & Caulfield and academic experience as an Adjunct Professor at the New England School of Design, Marilyn holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Wellesley College and a Master's degree in Interior Architecture from the New England School of Art and Design at Suffolk University.
