Dave Cowdery

Dave Cowdery has over 23 years of work experience in the field of data architecture, ETL development, and database management. Dave currently serves as the Lead Data Architect at CBTS since 2018. In this role, they are responsible for implementing Supply Chain Management into Financial Force on the Salesforce platform, and developing ETL processes to move data from Great Plains to Salesforce. Dave also built processes to refresh vendor catalogs inside Salesforce daily, processing up to 1 million records in a recoverable, fast, and efficient manner.

Prior to CBTS, Dave worked as the Lead Data Analytics Developer at Luxottica Group from 2015 to 2018. Dave was responsible for leading data analytics initiatives and developing data-driven solutions for the company.

Before that, Dave was a Lead Developer/Senior Project Manager at Cincinnati Bell from 2013 to 2015. Dave led the Least Cost Routing (LCR) development project and implemented data-storage and archive management routines using ASP.NET and SSIS. Dave also revamped existing SSIS packages to streamline processing and improve efficiency.

Dave also served as a Senior Database Developer at CBTS from 2013 to 2013, where they supported the LCR development project and utilized SSIS to create routine procedures for importing large tables for comparisons.

Prior to their role at CBTS, Dave spent 13 years at Advanced Micro Devices, where they worked as a Senior Business Systems Engineer.

Dave also gained experience as a Configuration Consultant at Accenture and as a DB Developer at RH Solutions earlier in their career.

Overall, Dave Cowdery has a strong background in data architecture, ETL development, and database management, and has successfully implemented various projects throughout their career.

Dave Cowdery attended San Jose State University from 1997 to 1999, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Management Information Systems (MIS).
