Deborah Wahlert has over 15 years of experience in the design, implementation, and management of various Cisco Unified Communications architectures. Deborah has provided Tier 3/ Tier 4 support to enterprise customers on CUCM/CUC versions 12.5, 11.5, and 10 while working as a VOIP Communications Engineer III at CBTS starting from August 2010. Before that, they worked as a Network/VoIP Engineer at Ohio Shared Information Services from August 2009 to April 2010, where they maintained and supported over 1000 users on an MPLS network in a healthcare environment. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Consultant/VoIP/Network Engineer at Cincinnati Bell Technology Solutions from January 2001 to August 2009, providing second and third-level network support for Network Operations Center customers. Deborah has experience in implementing and troubleshooting enterprise network infrastructure and VOIP solutions and has worked in a large enterprise environment consisting of 5000+ nodes. Deborah also has experience as a Network Administrator/NOC Support Engineer at Gateway Communications from April 1998 to January 2001, maintaining and supporting 10 NT 4.0 servers in an Ethernet WAN environment. Deborah started their career as a PC Specialist at GE Capital in July 1997, providing PC and peripheral support in a token ring LAN environment. Deborah has also worked as a PC Specialist at ADOW from January 1997 to July 1997, where they performed physical setup of networked PCs and devices and analyzed and resolved hardware and software problems for over 100 users. Prior to that, they worked as an IS Technician at Aerotek from July 1996 to December 1996, where they analyzed and resolved hardware and software problems on various systems. Deborah also has experience at The Kroger Company, where they worked as a Support Center Senior Assistant from May 1996 to July 1996, coordinating support for over 1200 stores and resolving complex hardware and software problems, and as a Systems Support Help Desk from September 1995 to April 1996, providing telephone support for technical and store personnel on SCO/AIX UNIX based systems.
Deborah Wahlert has an Associates degree in Computer Support Technology from the University of Cincinnati. Deborah has also obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2000, they earned the Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA) certification. In 2001, they obtained the Cisco Certified Network Professional Routing and Switching (CCNP-RS), Cisco Certified Network Professional Enterprise, and Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA) certifications. Additionally, in 2003, they achieved the Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP) certification. In 2017, they obtained the Cisco Certified Network Professional Collaboration (CCNP) certification. Furthermore, they have obtained various certifications in recent years, such as the SSCA The SIP School Certified Associate from The SIP School in 2019 and multiple certifications from Ribbon Communications, including Ribbon EMS Implementation & Support Professional, Ribbon PSX Support Professional, and Ribbon SBC Core Support Professional, all in 2021.
