Erica White-Johnson has a diverse work experience in the fields of taxation and compliance. Erica started their career as a Tax Specialist at PNC in 2010, where they conducted research on sales and use tax issues and managed state tax audits. After three years, they transitioned to a role as an Auditor at PNC, where they evaluated financial, operational, compliance, and administrative controls. In 2015, Erica joined Macy's as a Senior Auditor-Legal Compliance, where they conducted audits to ensure compliance with state and federal laws. After a year, they returned to PNC as a Tax Specialist, managing sales and use tax audits and preparing tax returns. In 2016, Erica became a Tax Manager at PNC, overseeing sales and property tax compliance for the United States and Canada and providing tax advice to internal partners. Currently, they are working as a Transaction Tax Manager at CBTS, where they research and documents transaction tax positions, provides tax advice, and manages tax audits.
Erica White-Johnson obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Hampton University, where they studied from 2001 until 2005. Afterward, they pursued further education at the William & Mary Law School, where they completed their Juris Doctor degree in the field of Tax Law/Taxation from 2005 to 2008.
