Samantha Mead

Samantha Mead has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Samantha currently holds the position of Technical Writer at CBTS since March 2023. Prior to this, Samantha was the Business Owner of their own company, Scented Snoot, starting in September 2021.

Previously, Samantha worked at General Dynamics Information Technology. From May 2022 to March 2023, they served as a Technical Editor, primarily working on a Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) contract. Samantha was responsible for logging, monitoring, and delivering risk reports for two contracts.

Before that, Samantha held the position of Technical Editor Associate from May 2018 to May 2022. Samantha divided their time among three contracts, including an HHS contract, where they assisted in creating various Project Management and System deliverables.

Samantha's career at General Dynamics Information Technology began as a Project Coordinator/Technical Writer Intern from June 2015 to May 2018. During this time, they performed routine writing, editing, and maintenance tasks on technical documentation for two Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) contracts. Samantha also developed and maintained Process and Product Quality Assurance audits.

Samantha Mead attended Towson University from 2014 to 2018, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance. Prior to that, from 2012 to 2014, they attended Randolph-Macon College, but no degree information was provided for this period. Samantha Mead also holds various certifications in project management and Microsoft Office, obtained in 2023 from institutions such as LinkedIn and Microsoft.
